Face Mask Anyone?

Thought I’d rock a face mask this week as they seem all the rage recently. Well that and my job often requires that I do. I think it looks a bit like a beak, but there you go. What a fetching get up!

Apologies for no cleaning instalment this week, it’s been quite a stressful time and I started writing one however for now it’s still a work in progress. One final push and the full draft of my portfolio is complete at last. I would feel a sense of accomplishment however there’s still the check, sign off and upload to go before the end of the month which I feel more stressed about than ever. Plus I can’t do any of that at home and only during work hours. So now I’m wandering about feeling a bit lost while watching a lot of Netflix to calm me down.

I stormed my way through The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Part 3 this week, finished Sex Education Season 2 only this morning and I started the new season of Grace & Frankie. It’s been a long time since I watched so much television! I am also, to a large extent, putting off a severe amount of wedding planning because even just thinking about it is stressing me out. Everyone asks me why, or if they can help, but in all honesty I don’t know and there’s not even a lot to actually be done yet.

Behold the Vegeterian Stacker

Next week is the Upminster Death Cafe for February 2020 which I am very much looking forward to. Hopefully the weather won’t keep people away and it will be great to catch up with some regulars for the first time this year. If you feel like trying it out and you’re nearby on Tuesday please feel free to pop along and see what it’s all about! I can promise you cheery conversation about death and the most incredible sourdough stackers that Upminster has to offer. The vegetarian club is pretty much my all time favourite sandwich of all time.

Tuesday 11th February 7-9pm at The Sweet Rose Cakery

Why was I wearing that mask this week? Certainly not through Coronavirus paranoia but sometimes we have to wear them because of airborne pathogens, for example, or because we are working with chemicals that could be dangerous to inhale. I won’t be taking them home with me or wearing one to Tesco. Like many other people, I recommend if you are concerned about catching Coronavirus to focus your concerns on things you are far more likely to catch such as Influenza. Practice safe hand washing and cough techniques and you will be doing the best to protect yourself! Usually when I’ve been focused on something for so long, I find it really hard to adjust to when that thing ends. This week is a bit of a rest and refocus time for me. I hope you have a good one too!
